Super Vague is outing number 2 for Baltimore’s Roomrunner, and their first to be released on vinyl. Fans of off-kilter guitar abuse in the vein of U.S. Maple, Chavez, and Polvo, and huge radio rock riffs alike will have a new favourite band after hearing these new tracks, written and recorded in Baltimore by Denny Bowen, formerly of Double Dagger and Yukon. The 12” features four tracks, clocking in at 12 minutes, cut LOUD at 45 and mastered to blow out the Best Buy floor-model speakers you just installed in your Civic.

Pale Seas (formally Netherlands) are releasing their debut single ‘Something Or Nothing’ on 5th March 2012, through Fear & Records.

Now based in London, Pale Seas started their musical journey in their hometown of Southampton. Pale Seas are a four-piece who conjure up warm, rich, acoustic led dream-folk songs, evoking a sound somewhere between Beach House and Elliot Smith.

Fronted by the charismatic songwriter Jacob Scott, Netherlands’ core members include guitarist Graham Poole, Matthew Bishop on bass and Zealah Izabella Anstey on percussion and backing vocals. The extended family includes studio members Ben Clark on Viola, Peter Scott on violin and American guitarist Garret Ney.

The lo-fi bedroom demos first recorded by Jacob have been reinvigorated after the band stepped into the studio with esteemed producer duo Jimmy Robertson and Demian Castellanos, who between them have worked on debuts for Florence & The Machine, Anna Calvi, The Big Pink and Tribes.

If you pre-order the 7” before March 5, you will receive the MP3s of both tracks immediately. You will also be guaranteed free entry to the band’s single launch, which is being held at the Sebright Arms, London on Monday March 12.

Fear of Men are a beautiful collection of swilly guitars and lush vocals. They also have a great name.

The band, who come from equal parts Brighton and New Cross, released a four track tape through Sex is Disgusting, which sold out in days, and are heading into the studio at the end of the month to prep future releases.

They will also be supporting Mazes at their Sexbeat-promoted album launch party (with Let’s Wrestle) on April 14th at the Victoria in Dalston.

Dysneyland are a raging three piece gang of indie noise rockers. They contain former members of Leicester’s Tired Irie and have, unfortunately, been forced to change their Walt Disney daring name (ahead of their forthcoming Too Pure 7”).

They will now be known as Sisterland thus making their debut single - Walking Wounded b/w Shadow of a Doubt - even more exclusive.

Jess Bryant has an incredibly beautiful, almost operatic, voice, coupled with Beach House-esque sensibilities. Have a listen to Molten, which is one of the standout tracks on her debut album Silvern, that will be released later this spring.
